Through the many signs brandished by demonstrators against the health pass during the last five weekends, some slogans do not go unnoticed, displaying an assumed antisemitic character.
For 73% of French people, these slogans are a call to hatred according to an Ifop poll for the JDD, like this teacher arrested after marching in Metz with an antisemitic sign. It had aroused many reactions on social networks, before justice was seized.
In addition to these signs, antisemitism is also trivialized by some demonstrators who decide to march with a yellow star, symbol of the persecution of Jews during the Second World War, or to use the expression "Nazi pass".
For 27% of French people, the use of these symbols is not shocking and falls within the scope of freedom of expression and demonstration. A figure that even rises to 47% among people who express themselves in sympathy with the mobilization against the extension of the health pass.
